Care & Materials

Built to last.
Designed to grow with you.

In Italian, Teatro means ‘theater’. And that’s exactly what inspired us: the idea that life is your stage. Every day, you step out and play a role. Sometimes bold and expressive, other times playful or mysterious. Effortlessly yourself, over and over again. Our accessories are your companions in this journey. They enhance who you are without overpowering you. You are the leading star.

I am made from genuine cowhide leather. My surface tells a story: with texture, color variations, and small imperfections that make me unique. No two pieces are the same. These natural irregularities reveal my origin—they are not flaws, but proof of authenticity and craftsmanship. By respecting the material in its purest form, we honor nature and prevent waste.

This is not mass production. This is craftsmanship, designed in Amsterdam and lovingly made in Florence.

Classic Grain

Grain leather is classic, durable, and timeless. It gets its name from the visible grain pattern—the natural texture of the hide—that gives each piece an authentic character. This type of leather is long-lasting, shape-retaining, and resistant to everyday wear, all without compromising on elegance.

Clean grain leather gently using a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and light dirt. Occasionally, apply a neutral leather cream to keep the leather supple and protect it from drying out. Apply the cream with a soft cloth, massaging it in gently using circular motions. This care preserves the leather’s vibrant appearance and natural shine.

Suede

Suede leather has a soft, velvety texture, known for its luxurious appearance and pleasant feel. The fine fibers give the material an elegant, matte sheen that is both subtle and refined. It is a leather that exudes comfort and style, while also requiring careful and respectful handling.

Because suede is more sensitive to moisture, dirt, and friction than smooth leather, regular maintenance is essential. Use a dedicated suede brush to refresh the fibers, preserve the velvety texture, and gently remove light marks or stains. Always brush in one direction for the best results.

Keep the leather dry at all times. Avoid contact with water or rain, as moisture can cause permanent stains and damage the fiber structure. If needed, you can use a suede spray to make the leather water- and dirt-repellent. With proper care, suede remains beautiful for years, retaining its soft, characterful appearance.

Metallic

Metallic leather combines sophistication with striking elegance. Its shiny, sparkling finish immediately catches the eye, adding a contemporary flair to any design. This special leather is typically crafted from suede and then coated with a thin metallic foil, giving it its distinctive shine and color intensity.

Due to this delicate top layer, metallic leather is more susceptible to damage than other types of leather. Friction, scratches, and moisture can affect or dull the metallic finish. It is therefore important to handle the material with care: avoid heavy use in high-friction areas and keep the leather as dry as possible.

Care products are not necessary for this type of leather and may even damage the finish. Instead, gentle and attentive use is sufficient. Store metallic leather in a clean, dry place, avoiding contact with sharp objects or damp surfaces. This way, metallic leather remains radiant and in pristine condition, season after season.

Washed leahter

Washed leather tells a story. First, it is crafted using traditional techniques, where skill and attention to detail are central. It then undergoes a special washing process, creating the characteristic, worn-in look that makes washed leather so unique. No two pieces are exactly alike; the natural variations in texture and color give each item its own distinctive, lived-in charm.

Use a leather conditioner sparingly to nourish the material and keep it supple. Preferably, choose a product specifically designed for washed leather and apply it with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking or vigorous rubbing, as this leather requires gentle care and attention. Proper maintenance preserves its character, ensures long-lasting durability, and allows it to age beautifully over time.

Importend to know

Every type of leather has its own character. And just like every character, it requires its own special care. Proper leather care not only extends the life of your items but also preserves the unique personality of each piece.

Protect me carefully. Avoid contact with alcohol, perfume, water, direct sunlight, and humidity. Oils, fats, ink, household cleaning products, salt, and sweat can also cause stains or discoloration.

Dark and richly colored leathers may transfer color. This is not a flaw, but a natural part of my authentic character and story. Handle me with care and attention. With proper maintenance, I will only become more beautiful over time, telling a story that is uniquely yours with every wear.

Cashmere blend

The Cashmere Blend collection is made from Greencash yarn, an eco-friendly cashmere that combines luxury with sustainability. This scarf is composed of 70% responsibly sourced materials and 30% sustainable fibers such as Lyocell (TENCEL™), derived from recycled knitwear. The composition is 10% cashmere, 30% wool, 25% polyamide, and 35% viscose.

For best results, wear the scarf without jewelry such as necklaces to prevent damage to the delicate fibers. Pilling is a natural occurrence with these types of fibers and can be minimized by avoiding excessive friction.

Hand wash or use a wool or gentle cycle at 20–30°C. Use a mild detergent and lay flat to dry to maintain the scarf’s shape.
